Silent Hill 2 is considered by many as having the best soundtrack in the series. The soundtracks starts with "Theme of Laura", one of the single best tunes in the series and the main theme from Silent Hill 2, which is played in its majority with a guitar and some reminiscences of "Silent Hill" from the first game. Among the best tracks on the disc are "Ordinary Vanity", "Promise (Reprise)", "Heaven's Night", the hard "Angel's Thanatos", the melancholic "Magdalene" and "True", and "Laura Plays the Piano". There is only one version of the soundtrack, available with different packages in Japan and Europe. With fewer tracks than the first Silent Hill soundtrack, this time the soundtrack is better arranged and more enjoyable to listen. Silent Hill 2 Original Soundtrack is a must have for any Silent Hill fan. 01 - Theme of Laura (03:24) - PC credits 02 - White Noiz (01:23) - WC scene in the beginning of the game 03 - Forest (01:43) - Meeting with Angela at the cemetery 04 - A World Of Madness (01:47) - Background music 05 - Ordinary Vanity (01:39) - Meeting with Eddie in the apartments 06 - Promise (Reprise) (01:44) - Meeting with Angela in the apartments 07 - Ashes And Ghost (03:08) - Alternative hospital 08 - Null Moon (02:50) - Meeting with Maria at the pier in the Rosewater Park 09 - Heaven's Night (02:04) - "Heaven's Night" bar 10 - Alone In The Town (02:19) - Meeting with Eddie in the "Pete's Bowl'O'Rama" 11 - The Darkness That Lurks In Our Mind (01:15) - Alternative hospital 12 - Angel's Thanatos (03:17) - Credits after getting "In Water" ending 13 - The Day Of Night (01:37) - Meeting with Laura in the hospital 14 - Block Mind (01:12) - Fighting with Flesh Lips in the hospital 15 - Magdalene (01:52) - In the elevator after Maria's death in the hospital 16 - Fermata In Mistic Air (02:16) - James Finds dead Maria in the labyrinth 17 - Prisonic Fairytale (01:54) - James reading Mary's letter at the observation deck 18 - Love Psalm (04:26) - Credits after "Born from a Wish" scenario 19 - Silent Heaven (02:13) - Room 202 in "Wood Side" apartments 20 - Noone Love You (01:32) - Alternative hotel 21 - The Reverse Will (03:33) - Credits after getting "Rebirth" ending 22 - Laura Plays The Piano (01:55) - Meeting with Laura in the hotel's restaurant 23 - Terror In The Depths Of The Fog (04:31) - The end of "Born from a Wish" scenario before credits 24 - True (03:06) - Meeting with Laura after watching the videotape in the hotel's room 312 25 - Betrayal (02:30) - Fighting with two Pyramid Heads 26 - Black Fairy (01:12) - Alternative hotel 27 - Theme Of Laura (Reprise) (01:51) - Meeting with Angela at the burning staircase in the hotel 28 - Overdose Delusion (04:31) - Credits after getting "Leave" ending 29 - Pianissimo Epilogue (01:37) - Game result screen after game's walkthrough 30 - Promise (04:39) - Credits after getting "Maria" ending Download full album |
