Ebisugaoka Part 3: To School

Welcome to the fifth chapter of the complete walkthrough guide for Silent Hill f, covering the third visit to Ebisugaoka and the path from Rinko's house to Ebisugaoka Middle School. Key Summary

• Proceed southwest following the main road to the north of the crop fields.
• Head south to the street crossroads.
• New Game+: UFO Ending. Enter the fields to the east. Take the first left, then the second right and go until you hit the T-junction. At the junction, turn right and find the first poster on the south side of a shed in the eastern section of the fields (move the obstacle to access it). Interact with the poster (1/3).
• Follow the main street to the west.
• Enter the alley at the end of the street to the south. Go left, then right and right again until you reunite with Hinako's friends.
  • Trophy/Achievement: Go Away! You'll Ruin the Shop's Reputation!. Defeat the Giant Monster in front of Chizuruya General Store.
• Head east past the Hokora shrine and then into the alley to the south at the end of the street.
• Go south and cross the bridge to the other side of the waterway.
• New Game+: UFO Ending. Find and interact with the second poster to the left of the Hokora shrine, just past the bridge (2/3).
• New Game+: UFO Ending. Backtrack to the alley near the Chizuruya General Store. Find the third poster on a building at the western alley end, north of the store, and interact with it (3/3).
• New Game+: UFO Ending. Return to the street with the giant monster in front of the Chizuruya General Store. You will hear a characteristic sound coming from a toy UFO on a bench on the south side of the street. Examine the article next to the toy, and you will immediately receive this ending.
• Follow the alley south and west until you have nowhere to go. Backtrack a little, and you will have a new passage opened to the north.
• Follow the alley to the west.
  • Antique Comb (⛩300). After meeting a new enemy type in the small yard, go up the stairs to the south and cross to the balcony to find this offering in a crate.
• Enter an open house in the northern part of the yard, go downstairs, then through the doors and hop outside through the open window.
• Go right.
  • Upgrade: Ema. Cross the bridge and take the left path. You will find this item on a low stone wall at the dead end next to a couple of enemies.
• Enter the alley to the right (with the lights at the start) and go upstairs to the Hokora shrine. Proceed through the alley.
• Continue north and then west until you reach the base of the mountain.
• New Game+: Sacred Sword Puzzle. Research Journal Photo 3 and Regarding the "Legend of the Sacred Sword" (4) are on a red barrel at the beginning of the west alleyway.
• Dried Carcass (⛩200) can be found inside a basket in a small yard beneath an overhang in the street before the start of the mountain stairway.
• New Game+: Upgrade: Ema is on a stool by the back door of the first house to the left.
• New Game+: Sacred Sword Puzzle. Find the third Jizo statue next to the last house on the left. Make your way up the stairs around the damaged bridge and pick the Broken Japanese Geta Sandal in front of the construction debris on the other side of the bridge. Return to the statue and interact with it to offer this item (3/5).
• Make your way to Ebisugaoka Middle School at the top.

Complete Walkthrough

Head to Shu's house

The east road is not an escape option, so the gang plans to head to Shu's house, crossing through the whole town. Once you regain control, turn around and look for a Ramune (⛩20) near the house's entrance and a Bandage on a bench.

Follow Shu and Rinko along the road to the west and then south, back to the Hokora shrine. You can find Red Capsules on the ground next to the fleshy mass at the dead-end past the shrine. Continue westward to catch up with Shu and Rinko. After the scene, go west and south for another cutscene, and you will arrive at another Hokora on the northern town street.

New Game+: UFO Ending Enter the fields to the east. Take the first left, then the second right and go until you hit the T-junction. At the junction, turn right and find the first poster on the south side of a shed in the eastern section of the fields (move the obstacle to access it). Interact with the poster (1/3).

Catch up with Shu and Rinko

Continue along the northern street, and at the first dead end to the south, you will find a Baseball Bat by another spread of the flesh mass. This part of the town is full of monsters, so take care. Go on westward until you hit a dead end next to the construction site. Take the alley to the south, turn left, then take a right and another right to catch up with the group.

Cut through the alleyways towards Ebisugaoka Middle School

Grab a Bandage in an open box next to the alleyway's end and run after Hinako's friend eastward.

Trophy/Achievement: Go Away! You'll Ruin the Shop's Reputation!

Defeat the Giant Monster in front of Chizuruya General Store.

Continue to the east, and you will reach another Hokora and then a T-junction at the end of the southern street.

Catch up with Shu and Rinko

Take a left to collect A Farmer’s Story document on a hay bale next to the upside-down wheelbarrow.

Go south now into the alleys between the houses, which are also invaded by monsters. Explore the yards to the east to find a Ramune (⛩20) next to the water pump station. In the next yard to the south, you will find a Chocolate (⛩80) to the left on some building blocks and an Arare (⛩10) on a balcony railing to the right.

Continue south down the stairs and cross the canal. Go further, and you will find a Steel Pipe next to a Hokora after you pass another monster.

New Game+: UFO Ending Find and interact with the second poster to the left of the Hokora shrine, just past the bridge (2/3). Backtrack to the alley near the Chizuruya General Store. Find the third poster on a building at the western alley end, north of the store, and interact with it (3/3). Return to the street with the giant monster in front of the Chizuruya General Store. You will hear a characteristic sound coming from a toy UFO on a bench on the south side of the street. Examine the article next to the toy, and you will immediately receive the UFO ending.

Follow the path between the houses to the south and then west until you hit a dead end with nowhere to go. Pick up a Higashi (⛩80) from a box by the shrine to the east of the stairs and Red Capsules on the floor to the west. Go back up the stairs and follow Rinko, who will open up a new path.

As you pass underneath a bridge, you will be attacked by a new monster type – Irohihi. Deal with the monster to search the area safely. Go up the stairs to the left of the bridge and find an Antique Comb (⛩300) in the box on the balcony. Go back and enter an open house in the west.

Go through the house

Go ahead and pick a Kudzu Tea (⛩100) from a box to the right. Check the room to the left, take care of a monster, then take a Kitchen Knife from the kitchen table and a Chocolate (⛩80) from the top of the cabinet.

Proceed into the living room on this floor to find an Arare (⛩10) on the table, a Ramune (⛩20) and a Bandage in the drawers, a magazine and a radio that you can interact with.

Go downstairs, collect a Higashi (⛩80) from the top of the chest of drawers and proceed through the doors to meet yet another new monster type with far-reaching spewing attacks. This monster spews liquid that produces red tendrils on the ground that will grab you if you walk over them, so wait till they are gone and attack the monster then. Leave the house through the open window.

Find Shu and Rinko

You can check an area to the left to eavesdrop on Rinko and Shu, as well as find a Bandage in a basket at the dead end. Turn back and then pick the northeast alley to find an Upgrade: Ema at a low stone wall at the dead end next, although you'll be jumped by a couple of enemies here.

Trace back and take the southeast path that will lead you to a Hokora shrine. Follow the path downstairs to reunite with Hinako's friends.

Head to the mountain behind Ebisugaoka Middle School

Continue along the only available path west and north, cross the canal and go up the stairs. You can find a Toolkit at the beginning of the path to the right, but that route will only lead to a dead end, so turn around and go west towards the school.

New Game+: Sacred Sword Puzzle You will find a Research Journal Photo 3 and Regarding the "Legend of the Sacred Sword" (4) on a red barrel at the beginning of the west alleyway.

Check a basket under the roof on the left for a Dried Carcass (⛩200). As you continue, a couple of monsters will attack you at the base of the long set of stairs.

Go up to find a Hokora on the right. Continue up the stairs, and when the path splits, check out the house to the left to find a Chocolate (⛩80) inside a box under the shed roof.

New Game+ Continue the path, and you will find an Upgrade: Ema on a stool by the back door of the first house to the left, opposite the Hokora shrine.

Following the left stairs up will lead you to a blocked path with Red Capsules on the ground in front of the broken bridge. Backtrack two flights of stairs, cross a bridge to the northwest. Check a lantern to the right for a journal entry and grab a Higashi (⛩80) from a small yard to the left. Continue your way up the stairs for another cutscene.

New Game+: Sacred Sword Puzzle Find the third Jizo statue next to the last house on the left. Make your way up the stairs around the damaged bridge and pick the Broken Japanese Geta Sandal in front of the construction debris on the other side of the bridge. Return to the statue and interact with it to offer this item (3/5).

Enter Ebisugaoka Middle School

Make your way to the top of the stairs and enter the school's premises through the open gate. The path to Shu's house is locked, so you will have to search the school for the mountain gate key.
