Key Summary

Note: This area doesn't have a map.
Proceed forward and investigate the mural and banners ahead. To solve the puzzle, you need to find three crests first.
Take the door to the left.

First Section

In the rooms with the statues, there are multiple doors that you can enter, but only one is correct. You will need to locate the right statue, remove an arrowhead from its body, and it will rotate to the proper door and point to it with its glowing blue eyes. If you enter the wrong door, you will have to defeat some monsters and return to the previous room for another try.
- Trophy/Achievement: Sly Like the Fox. Obtain all the crests without making a single mistake on the Inari statue puzzle.
In the first room, interact with the last statue to the left to reveal the correct door.
- Family Physician’s Log (4) is on a podium in front of the altar at the back of the first room.
Proceed through the door and defeat all monsters.
- Omamori [Hound] is on a shrine in the first room to your right.
- Shriveled Abura-age (⛩500) is on a table in the first room to the left.
- Housemaid's Note (2) is on a cabinet in the room to the left of the altar.
Collect the Black Sparrow Crest from a box at the altar and pass through the wall to the right of the altar, using your focus ability.
In the main room, go through the door opposite the mural.

Second Section

Some statues will be hidden here, and you will need to reveal them by using your focus ability. Search for the round empty spots on the bloodied floor.
- Housemaid's Note (1) is on a podium in front of the altar at the back of the first room.
Locate a hidden statue to the right and interact with it to reveal the correct door.
- Strict Mother's Letter (3) is by one of the columns in the center of the second room.
Interact with the statue to the left to reveal the correct door, then proceed.
Defeat all monsters in this area. One of the enemies will be in a secret room behind a wall to the left.
- Antique Comb (⛩300) is on a shelf in the corner of the secret room.
Collect the White Sparrow Crest from a box at the altar and pass through the door to the left of the altar.
In the main room, go through the door to the right of the mural (in front of you as you leave the previous section).

Third Section

Interact with the last statue to the left to reveal the correct door.
- Strict Mother's Letter (4) is on the drawers next to the Inari-sama door on the right side of the first room.

Upgrade: Ema is on a shelf cabinet in the back of the room, behind the Inari-sama door.

Proceed through the correct door. Defeat all monsters in this area, then collect the Fox Mask Crest from a box at the altar.
Proceed through the door to the right of the altar.

Main Room

Solve the Mural Puzzle by inserting the three crests in their correct locations:

Ending 1:

Fox Mask Crest – in the fan of the fox on the far left.
White Sparrow Crest – in the lantern of the fox at the top middle.

Black Sparrow Crest – in the chest of the fox to the right.

New Game+. Ending 2:

Fox Mask Crest – in the fan of the fox on the far left.
Black Sparrow Crest – in the lantern of the fox sitting in the palanquin.

White Sparrow Crest – in the lantern of the fox in the middle, above the fox sitting on the ground.

New Game+. Ending 3:

Fox Mask Crest – in the lantern of the fox at the top left, above the palanquin.
Black Sparrow Crest – in the lantern of the fleeing fox at the far right (left one of the two).

White Sparrow Crest – in the lantern of the fleeing fox at the far right (right one of the two).
